Over 60 and looking to change your fitness? Weight training is the key to increased mobility, balance and strength. Join in Thursdays where we use weights and some cardio and get you moving again.

Bring along

Comfortable clothing and proper shoes.

Class is tutored by Muriel who has been running this class for over 13 years at OCH & extends her tutoring to several other local community houses and learning centres.


A few years ago I was looking for an exercise class that would improve my general fitness, some alternative to attending a  gym. Finding Muriel’s class was the answer. The class incorporates weights, cardio, core strength and balance, and a few laughs!   Muriel takes care  to tailor the program to individual needs and I am thrilled at the  improvement in my fitness level, enabling me to keep up an active life. An added bonus was the social interaction with the other  members of the class.
